Things you will need

  • Half cup Epsom Salt
  • Half cup pink Himalayan salt
  • Some Rose petals
  • 1 Lemon Sliced
  • Honey 1 tablespoon
  • Orange, Lavender or Lemon essential oil few drops ( optional)

Instructions

1_ Take a bucket with half-filled warm water.

2_ Add Epsom Salt, Himalayan pink salt, Honey, Lemon and rose petals in it and stir well.

3_ Lastly add few drops of essential oil and soak your feet in it for 15 mins, close your eyes and relax.

4_ After 15 minutes scrub your feet. You can use a pumice stone or can use a store-bought exfoliator. Or you can make your DIY exfoliator by mixing sugar and coconut oil at home.

5_ Then wash your feet and apply a moisturiser. And you are done!

There are no serious side effects of soaking is being seen. But you have to keep some things in mind before using a foot soak.

Do not use very hot water as it can burn the layer of your skin and make it drier.

Don’t overdo with the foot soak if you have dry skin, the salt will make your skin more dry and cracked. Use foot soak twice a week for good results

Do not use a foot soak if your feet have an open wound, crack and open skin.

Any kind of foot soak is not suitable for people who are suffering from diabetes and chronic diseases.

If you have extremely sensitive skin then avoid the salt-based foot soaks.

Baking Soda and Lemon Foot Soak

Baking soda is your very own cleaning agent. Lemon is also good for reducing blemishes. This foot soak is good for tanning and uneven skin on your feet.

But if you have sensitive skin then avoid this soak. It can dry out your skin so put moisturizer or vaseline afterwards.

  • Baking soda 2 tablespoon
  • 1 large lemon
  • Baby wash 2 tablespoon

What to do?

Take a bucket with half-filled warm water.

Add baking soda, baby wash and finally squeeze the lemon in the bucket. Do not throw the rind let it soak in water.

Soak your feet in this water for 15 minutes and then scrub your feet with a scrubber.

Rinse with warm water and apply a moisturiser.

Use this twice a week to get baby soft and beautiful feet.
